Hello! I’m lindsey, and I’ve been vegan since 2017 — which pretty much all started after watching one documentary and realizing my body (and the planet) deserved better. I was also going through some health stuff at the time, so with that I decided to make a change. Since then, I’ve done my best to stick to mostly organic, plant-based foods… but let’s be real — I’m human, and perfection isn’t the goal.

In the beginning, finding vegan recipes that actually tasted the way I wanted them to was a challenge. So I started saving recipes in various places — only to end up tweaking all of them. I’d swap/omit ingredients, adjust spices, simplify steps… until they finally tasted like what I was looking for. Eventually, I realized I was building my own little recipe library!

That’s why I started this blog. I wanted one place to store my favorite plant-based recipes — and to share them in case it helps someone else on their own journey. Whether you’re a longtime vegan or just curious about eating more plants, I hope you find something here that makes your kitchen a little more delicious. eat happy!
